AEW World Champion Will Ospreay participated in the post-show media scrum for All In: London. He discussed various topics, including the special entrance he had for the World Title Match at the pay-per-view and what it meant to him.
Ospreay said, “No, honestly for me, it was walking past all the people that made me. Like, I walked past Zack Sabre Jr, who was like the first mountain in British wrestling that I climbed. Guys like Michael Oku, who was my last British wrestling match. Ricochet, from the Best of the Super Juniors. Swerve, Kyle and Davis, then seeing [Alex Windsor] there and then, Moxley. It was mind-blowing to like — even though there might be hard feelings towards some of them, maybe some love towards others — I think honestly it was one of the coolest moments to know there was a moment of appreciation from all of them and they were ready to see me step into this position. To me, that was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I haven’t watched it back yet, but people are saying it was pretty flipping sick. So I can’t wait to see it.”
On what he told Kenny Omega before the finish of their match:
“I just — I knew after he kicked out of the Stormbreaker at one, I said, ‘He’s got nothing left.’ So I just looked at him and I said, ‘Thank you.’ Then smacked him as hard as I physically f**king could. [chuckles]”
