AEW Dynamite aired Wednesday night on TBS and HBO Max from Norfolk, Virginia. The show featured two major eight-man and trios matches, Hangman Page and Brodido pursuing an All Out title opportunity and Will Ospreay’s final confrontation with Jon Moxley before their AEW World Championship match.
The broadcast opened with Adam Copeland’s team discussing the eight-man tag-team match. Stokely Hathaway then spoke on behalf of their opponents before becoming involved in a brief argument with Don Callis.
Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Darby Allin and Steven Borden Jr. vs. FTR, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight
Stokely Hathaway joined the commentary team as Adam Copeland and Kyle Fletcher started the opening contest.
Copeland controlled the initial lockup and backed Fletcher into the ropes. Fletcher recovered and gained the advantage before Darby Allin tagged in.
Christian Cage tagged himself into the match, but Allin immediately slapped Cage on the back to tag himself back in. Fletcher capitalized on the disagreement and attacked Allin.
Steven Borden Jr. entered against Fletcher before all eight wrestlers briefly converged in the ring. Dax Harwood eventually became legal and faced Borden.
Borden backed Harwood into the corner and slapped him across the face. Harwood responded by taking Borden down and driving him into the opposite corner, but Borden recovered with a dropkick for two.
Borden knocked Fletcher and Knight from the apron, allowing Harwood to attack him from behind. Borden sent Harwood outside, where Allin struck him several times before returning him to the ring.
The match descended into a brawl involving all eight men as Dynamite went to its first commercial break.
Following the break, Cash Wheeler controlled Allin and tagged Fletcher. Fletcher prevented Allin from reaching his corner while Harwood and the Don Callis Family knocked his partners from the apron.
Fletcher trapped Allin in the corner, allowing Callis to interfere from ringside. Allin eventually fought free and reached Borden.
Borden entered with offense against Fletcher, Harwood and Knight. Harwood stopped his momentum and positioned him on the top turnbuckle for a superplex.
Borden fought Harwood off with right hands and sent him crashing to the mat. The other competitors entered as the contest broke down again.
FTR and the Don Callis Family eventually isolated Borden and delivered a four-man combination ending with Knight’s UFO Splash. Harwood covered Borden, but he kicked out.
Harwood attempted the Scorpion Deathlock, only for Borden to send him toward the floor, where Cage struck Harwood with a chair while the referee was distracted.
Cage took down Knight and Wheeler before Allin connected with the Coffin Drop on Harwood. Borden followed with the cover to secure the victory.
Copeland celebrated afterward while holding Allin’s TNT Championship. Allin was visibly unhappy about Copeland handling his title.

Jon Moxley Sends A Message To Will Ospreay
Jon Moxley addressed AEW World Champion Will Ospreay ahead of their title match at All Out.
Moxley spoke about how difficult it was to become World Champion and said he hoped Ospreay had learned something from their time together—particularly that possessing a championship did not necessarily make someone the best.
Moxley warned that Gabe Kidd and PAC wanted to get their hands on Ospreay before All Out. He added that Kidd intended to injure the champion during their trios match later in the show.
PAC declared that it was the Death Riders against the world and promised that Ospreay would not escape them.
Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne
A video package recapped the rivalry between Chris Jericho and Nick Wayne before the two met in singles competition.
Wayne took Jericho to the mat early, but Jericho responded with a bodyslam. Wayne slapped Jericho across the face, prompting the veteran to drive him into the corner.
Jericho attempted the Lionsault, but Wayne blocked it and landed several strikes. Jericho answered with a backbreaker and delayed vertical suplex for two.
Wayne regained control with a thumb to the eye and took the fight onto the apron. The two exchanged blows until Jericho delivered a Death Valley Driver on the edge of the ring.
Jericho brought Wayne back to his feet, but Wayne sent him into the steel steps. Wayne then connected with a Destroyer on the floor.
Following the commercial break, Jericho launched Wayne with a back body drop and knocked him from the apron. Jericho climbed the turnbuckles and delivered an elbow drop onto Wayne at ringside.
Wayne recovered and hit a senton that drove Jericho into the apron. Back inside, Wayne launched himself from the top rope, but Jericho intercepted him with a Codebreaker for two.
Wayne fought back with a standing Sliced Bread for another near fall. He missed a roundhouse kick, allowing Jericho to attempt the Walls of Jericho, but Wayne powered free and connected with a thrust kick.
Jericho trapped Wayne in the corner and followed with a hurricanrana. Wayne later avoided the Judas Effect and took Jericho down for two.
As both men returned to their feet, Jericho removed Wayne’s puka shell necklace. Wayne became distracted, allowing Jericho to catch him with a roll-up and earn the victory.
Jericho offered Wayne his hand after the match, but Wayne attacked him. Wayne retrieved a steel chair and struck Jericho across the back before leaving.

Mercedes Moné Ruled Out Of All Out
The commentary team announced that AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné had not been medically cleared to compete at All Out.
As a result, Willow Nightingale will face Thekla at the pay-per-view. The winner will challenge Moné for the AEW Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream.
AEW then aired a video package previewing the rivalry between Nightingale and Thekla.
Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo And Francesco Akira Prepare For The Death Riders
Will Ospreay spoke backstage alongside Andrade El Idolo and Francesco Akira.
Ospreay addressed the Death Riders and discussed the history of United Empire bringing talented wrestlers into its ranks, including Andrade.
Andrade displayed the contract guaranteeing him a future AEW World Championship match. He told Ospreay to relax, however, because his immediate focus remained their trios match.
Akira then delivered a short message in Italian before the show returned to ringside.
Winners Earn An AEW World Trios Championship Match At All Out: Hangman Page and Brodido vs. The Conglomeration
Hangman Adam Page started against Kyle O’Reilly and dropped him with a shoulder tackle.
Page attempted a sunset flip, but O’Reilly transitioned into a cross armbreaker. After several counters, Page controlled O’Reilly’s arm and tagged Bandido.
Bandido continued targeting the arm until O’Reilly reversed the hold. The two exchanged arm drags before O’Reilly kicked Bandido in the chest.
Orange Cassidy tagged in and joined O’Reilly for a double-team attack. Cassidy remained in control until Bandido reached Brody King.
King entered with several chops and knocked Cassidy down. Cassidy immediately kipped back up, only for King to send him into The Conglomeration’s corner.
Roderick Strong tagged in and exchanged chops with King as the show went to a commercial break.
When Dynamite returned, Bandido held Cassidy in a delayed vertical suplex. Both men remained down until Cassidy reached Strong while Page entered for his team.
Page took down Strong and knocked O’Reilly from the apron. Strong attempted to throw Cassidy into Page, but Page caught him and used a fallaway slam to send Cassidy outside.
Strong blocked the Dead Eye and landed several kicks before tagging O’Reilly. Page fought him off and brought King back into the match.
King attacked both O’Reilly and Strong. Page and Bandido joined him as Brodido and Hangman began setting up another combination.
Cassidy made a blind tag, but King knocked him from the apron. King then crushed Strong and O’Reilly with a cannonball on the floor.
King attempted a baseball slide against Cassidy, but Cassidy sent him into the barricade. O’Reilly followed with a running kick.
Back inside, Strong delivered a backbreaker to Page, leaving Bandido and Cassidy as the legal men.
Bandido countered a suplex position into a cutter for two. Cassidy responded with the Stundog Millionaire and Orange Punch before The Conglomeration delivered a triple-team combination for another near fall.
Strong and Page returned and exchanged strikes until Page landed a clothesline. Cassidy attempted a rope-assisted DDT, but Page blocked it.
Strong knocked Page down before O’Reilly entered with strikes. King took out O’Reilly and blocked Cassidy’s attempted Orange Punch.
Strong kicked King, but Page returned and took Strong down. Page avoided another Orange Punch from Cassidy before hitting Strong with the Buckshot Lariat for the victory.
Hangman Page and Brodido earned an AEW World Trios Championship match against Swerve Strickland and New Level at All Out.
Winners: Hangman Adam Page and Brodido
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Myles Hawkins
Tommaso Ciampa entered after the previous match as an inset promo aired.
Ciampa formally challenged Kazuchika Okada to defend the AEW International Championship against him at All Out.
Myles Hawkins was already waiting inside the ring. Ciampa attacked immediately and scored a dominant victory in short order.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa
The Demand Attacks The AEW World Trios Champions
Tony Schiavone introduced AEW World Trios Champions Swerve Strickland, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed.
Strickland entered first, followed by New Level, but The Demand attacked the champions before they could reach the ring.
Strickland was sent into the steel steps while Bishop Kaun attacked Creed. Creed attempted to fight back, but Gates of Agony overwhelmed him.
Kingston tried to make the save but was also taken down. Strickland eventually rolled into the ring, where the attack continued.
Ricochet collected the AEW World Trios Championship belts and stood over the fallen champions while holding their titles.
Jack Perry Challenges Samoa Joe
Jack Perry reflected on his recent matches against former World Champions.
Although Perry acknowledged losing both contests, he said he had learned from the experiences and was continuing to develop.
Perry then challenged Samoa Joe to return and face him. He said others might love or fear Joe, but he did neither.
Perry invited Joe to return and teach him something. As the segment ended, the camera revealed graffiti reading, “JOE’S GONNA KILL YOU.”
Jamie Hayter vs. Lena Kross
Lena Kross attacked AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Jamie Hayter as she entered the ring.
Kross drove Hayter into the corner and pressed her boot against her throat. Hayter responded with a corner clothesline and dragon screw, but Kross regained control.
Kross drove Hayter face-first onto the apron and sent her into the guardrail. Hayter fought back with strikes and climbed onto the apron, but Kross caught her and powerbombed her against the ring post.
Following the commercial break, Hayter stopped Kross with a clothesline and followed with another in the corner.
Hayter then connected with a missile dropkick from the top rope for two. She attempted Hayterade, but Kross avoided it and hit a German suplex for a near fall.
Hayter countered a suplex into a cradle for two and landed a step-up kick. Kross answered with a neckbreaker.
Both women returned to their feet and exchanged strikes. Kross lifted Hayter and slammed her to the mat before scoring another two-count.
Hayter responded with a knee strike and backbreaker, but neither move was enough to finish the match.
As Hayter brought Kross to her feet, Megan Bayne appeared on the apron carrying Hayter’s AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship.
The distraction allowed Kross to retrieve a metal pipe from underneath the ring and strike Hayter. Kross hid the weapon and followed with a Jackhammer to score the victory.
Divine Dominion continued the attack afterward until Alex Windsor ran to the ring and made the save.

Andrade El Idolo Prepares To Defend The National Championship
AEW aired a video package highlighting Andrade El Idolo ahead of his National Championship defense against Daniel Garcia on Collision.
Andrade was also scheduled to team with Will Ospreay and Francesco Akira in the Dynamite main event.
Tommaso Ciampa Attacks Kazuchika Okada
Kazuchika Okada responded backstage to Tommaso Ciampa’s challenge for an AEW International Championship match.
Okada said he had considered the challenge before insulting Ciampa.
Ciampa immediately attacked the champion from behind and drove him into a road case. He followed with a running knee strike.
Ciampa said that when he called for a match, he wanted the “Psycho Killer” against the “Rainmaker.” He repeated Okada’s insult before walking away.
The Brawling Birds Address All Out
The Brawling Birds discussed the events from earlier in the night before turning their attention to their championship match at All Out.
Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo and Francesco Akira vs. Jon Moxley, PAC and Gabe Kidd
Jon Moxley, PAC and Gabe Kidd entered through the crowd before Andrade El Idolo, Francesco Akira and AEW World Champion Will Ospreay made their way to the ring.
Ospreay and Moxley appeared ready to begin, but after an intense stare-down, Moxley backed into his corner and tagged Kidd.
Kidd immediately charged Ospreay and bit his hand before driving him into the corner. PAC tagged in and joined Kidd for a double-team attack.
Ospreay fought back and sent PAC outside before catching Kidd with a Skytwister Press for two.
Akira and Andrade entered, and all three members of Ospreay’s team cleared the ring before connecting with dives to the outside.
Back inside, Akira covered Kidd for two but was driven into the Death Riders’ corner. Moxley tagged in and sent Akira into the steel steps.
Kidd drove Akira into the guardrail before Moxley returned him to the ring. PAC entered and scored a near fall.
Akira attempted to fight back, but PAC sent him hard into the corner. The Death Riders followed with triple-team offense before Moxley tagged back in.
Moxley continued wearing down Akira and applied a modified Cloverleaf. Akira reached the ropes and forced the break.
Following the commercial break, the Death Riders remained in control. Akira finally created separation and tried to reach his partners, but PAC initially stopped him.
Akira kicked PAC away and made the tag to Andrade. Andrade took PAC down and delivered a Meteora in the corner before tagging Ospreay.
Ospreay attempted Stormbreaker, but PAC escaped. Ospreay landed an enzuigiri, only for PAC to answer with a German suplex.
Moxley tagged in and exchanged strikes with Ospreay. He caught the champion in a choke, but Ospreay escaped a suplex and delivered a Liger Bomb for two. Kidd broke up the pin.
Kidd was sent outside but stopped Ospreay from attempting the Hidden Blade. Akira intercepted Kidd and made the tag before diving onto him at ringside.
Akira returned and caught Moxley with a cutter for a near fall. He missed a running knee, allowing Kidd to drive him into the corner.
Ospreay sent Kidd outside, while Moxley caught Andrade with a cutter.
Akira and Moxley were left inside the ring. Akira fought back with strikes and drove Moxley into the corner.
Wheeler Yuta climbed onto the apron, but Akira knocked him down. Moxley capitalized with a clothesline and Paradigm Shift.
Kidd pulled Ospreay from the apron while PAC prevented Andrade from breaking up the pin. Moxley delivered two Death Riders to Akira and applied the Bulldog Choke, forcing him to submit.
Winners: Jon Moxley, PAC and Gabe Kidd
Moxley refused to release the choke after the bell and eventually resumed his attack.
Andrade entered and fought Moxley away before dropping him with Dia de los Muertos. The Dogs then attacked Andrade.
Moxley retrieved a steel chair and handed it to Kidd as the group prepared to damage Andrade’s leg.
Ospreay rushed into the ring and made the save, forcing Moxley and The Dogs to retreat through the crowd.
Ospreay and Andrade stood inside the ring as the Death Riders watched from the audience, bringing the final Dynamite before All Out to a close.
