Bayley’s Biggest WWE WrestleMania Moment Awaits

Bayley has done almost everything in the WWE, yet at Wrestlemania XL, she will compete in her first one-on-one match on the grandest stage of all!

She has accomplished many things in her historic career and had many firsts in the company’s history!

Bayley was the first-ever WWE Women’s Grand Slam winner and the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with partner Sasha Banks.

Bayley was also in the first Women’s Championship Match contested in Saudi Arabia alongside Naomi. She is a Money in the Bank and Royal Rumble winner.

Whether she is the beloved Babyface Hugger or the obnoxious Role Model Heel, fans always gravitate to her as she has been excellent in both roles.

Bayley has had matches at WrestleMania before, both as a tag team champion and in a six-pack elimination match for the Smackdown Women’s Title—a title she held for 380 days, the longest in WWE History! Still, she has never had a singles match at the flagship show.

When Bayley returned to WWE SummerSlam in 2022 after an injury, the Role Model introduced a new faction in Damage CTRL consisting of Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai, and herself. Since then, the faction has had its share of ups and downs.

At the WWE Survivor Series War Games in November of last year, the WWE started to tease a Bayley Babyface turn after being a Heel for over four years. She has been consistently singled out by the larger group, now including WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane. It all came to a head after Bayley won the Royal Rumble this year.

The betrayal happened in a great segment during a Friday Night Smackdown episode. Bayley addressed members of Damage CTRL, talking about her behind her back, with Bayley even saying something in Japanese to WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky.

Since then, Dakota Kai has also turned her back on Bayley. The numbers game had been too much for Bayley until this past Smackdown when Bayley attacked Sky after an interview segment, catching the Women’s Champ off guard and without the other members of Damage CTRL.

With the match set at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia, Bayley will finally have her one-on-one match as she attempts to get back to the top of the mountain she’s been longing for, this time as a beloved Babyface.

With the new alliance of Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair going to battle with the rest of Damage CTRL, leading to a Six-Women Tag Match on night one at WrestleMania XL, Bayley may have the backup if Damage CTRL tries to interfere in this match.

Of course, this relies on whether Belair can forgive Bayley for her previous actions when she was in Damage CTRL.

This story is one of many well-thought-out storylines going into WrestleMania XL. It has been excellent television watching this play out.

Will Damage CTRL interfere in the match? Will Bayley get help if needed? Or when it’s all said and done, will Bayley stand tall and successfully win the match on her own if it will genuinely be a one-on-one match?

This match is a Championship Match many are excited to see as Bayley tries to recapture gold in her first singles match at the event, creating her biggest WrestleMania Moment yet!
