Beyond Wrestling Wrestling Open #123: The Crystal Ball Review – May 9, 2024

Kicking off this week’s Wrestling Open with a video sent in from Willow congratulating Beyond Wrestling on reaching this milestone. She talked about competing at shows there with fans right next to the ring and the interaction the wrestlers have with the fans.

IWTV Independent Tag Team Titles Match
Miracle Generation (c) (Dustin Waller & Kylon King) vs. Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) 

Kylon King & Bronson starts this match with King hits a dropkick and hits a rolling cannonball.

Boulder entered but Miracle Generation hit some quick team offense with King hitting a senton. Boulder slammed both of MG to the mat.

Waller’s face was pushed into Titty City on Boulder’s chest.

Iron Savages began working over Dustin Waller with Bronson peeling up Waller’s shirt and chopping him. Boulder hits a Guerrilla Press slamming Waller stomach first to the mat.

Bronson entered and his a uranage but he missed a Vader Bomb.

King got the hot tag and a springboard dropkick then an exploder suplex and a tornado DDT for a near fall. Bronson gave Waller a piledriver onto King’s chest for a near fall.

Boulder put Bronson on his shoulders but Bronson missed a splash to the mat.

Boulder hits a Powerslam on King then he hits a 2nd rope moonsault for a near fall.

Waller hits a stunner on Bronson & King hits a German suplex on Boulder.

King hits a moonsault and Waller hits Mamba Splash for the win.

A sent n video from Eddie Kingston & he praised the fun he had at Beyond Wrestling. He talked about slamming Stokely Hathaway through a pile of chairs.

Oney Lorcan (Biff Busick) sent in a video and congratulated Beyond on the anniversary as well.

TJ Crawford vs. Thomas Santell

Thomas Santell got a roll up for a near fall before we get some mat reversals and TJ Crawford stalled in the ropes.

Santell loudly slaps TJ’s stomach then Crawford works the left arm.

Crawford tore apart Santell’s glasses before Santell crotched Crawford on the top rope and shook it. Santell hits some moves with his right but sold the pain in his left arm.

Santell hits a brainbuster for a near fall and he switched to a half crab but Crawford reached the ropes. Crawford locked in a Fujiwara Armbar and Santell taps out.

After the match Crawford kept beating up Santell until Fancy Ryan Clancy ran in and chased off Crawford.

We heard from Wheeler Yuta & he said his favorite moment in Beyond Wrestling was his partner Orange Cassidy beating Tracy Williams. His favorite match he was in was against Lee Moriarty.

Mike Santana vs. Dan Barry

Mike Santana immediately works the left arm before Dan Barry hits a shoulder tackle and did a hip swivel. They went to the floor where Santana hit some chops.

Barry hits an Asai Moonsault to the floor then in the ring Barry hits a dropkick into the corner for a near fall then a senton for a near fall.

They traded Mafia Kicks before Santana hit a kip up stunner and they were both down.

Santana hits an enzuigiri then a Death Valley Driver for a near fall.

Barry fired back with a pumphandle back suplex for a near fall.

Barry hits a Burning Hammer for a near fall.

He missed a top rope moonsault and Santana hits another enzuigiri, a faceplant and a Mafia Kick for a near fall.

Barry hits a hurricanrana before Santana hits a discus clothesline for the pin.

A video package aired from Jordynne Grace & she said she wouldn’t be where she is today if not for being in Beyond Wrestling and the exposure it gave her. She name checked a number of wrestlers who were her contemporaries in Beyond Wrestling who are now signed to TNA, AEW or WWE.

Megan Bayne vs. Allie Katch

Megan Bayne hits a shoulder tackle to knock Katch down then she slams Katch into the corner then a Stinger Splash and a butterfly suplex for a near fall.

Katch hits a running kick to the side of the head before Bayne hits a delayed suplex and a hard clothesline for a near fall.

Bayne flew into a corner and hurt her shoulder against a ring post.

Katch hits a butt bump and a rolling cannonball in the corner.

Katch hits a northern lights suplex for a near fall then they fought on the ropes.

Katch hits Tower of London for a near fall before Bayne hits an F5 for a near fall.

They got up and traded forearm strikes before Katch hits a piledriver for a near fall.

Bayne hits a flying clothesline then a Tombstone Piledriver for the win.

Alec Price vs. Jake Parnell

Jake Parnell hits a headbutt before Alec Price hits a springboard crossbody then a headscissors takedown sending Parnell to the floor.

They traded blows on the ring apron and Parnell snapped Alec’s arm onto the apron.

In the ring he shoved Price shoulder first into the corner.

Parnell hits a dropkick into the corner for a near fall and was in charge and he kept Price grounded by working the left arm and shoulder.

Price finally hit a hurricanrana then a half nelson suplex then a running knee to the chin.

Price hits a top rope flying leg drop for a near fall.

Parnell hits a running knee to the corner then a twisting uranage for a near fall.

Parnell applied a Cobra Clutch before Parnell hits a flipping dive through the ropes.

Back in the ring Parnell hits  a top rope elbow drop for a near fall then hits some chops.

Price hits a pop up dropkick then they again fought on the ring apron and traded forearm strikes. Parnell nailed an Air Raid Crash onto the apron.

Parnell hit a top rope flying elbow onto a standing Price on the floor and they were both down. In the ring Price hits a Frankensteiner then hits a dive over the ropes onto Parnell.

He hits hits springboard tornado DDT for the pin.

Eliminator Cup Tag Team Titles Match
The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Danny Miles) (c) vs. The Church Of Greatness (Tyree Taylor & Ichiban)

Both teams brawled before Ichiban leapt off of Tyree Taylor’s shoulders and hit a splash to the floor on The Stetson Ranch. In the ring Ichiban hit a guillotine leg drop on Danny Miles.

The Stetson Ranch began working over Ichiban before Miles hits a side slam for a near fall.

He slams Ichiban into the corner then sets up for a 2nd rope superplex but Ichiban escaped.

Ichiban missed a top rope elbow drop and Steven Stetson immediately hit a bodyslam.

Stetson pops up Ichiban & Miles hit a flying spear before Taylor made the save.

Ichiban hits a leaping flatliner & Taylor finally got a hot tag and he hit a shoulder tackle and a series of punches.

He hits a headbutt on Miles and he hip tossed Miles onto Stetson in the corner.

Taylor hits a powerslam and a knee strike on Stetson for a near fall.

Stetson hit a lariat to the back of Taylor’s head for a near fall but Ichiban made the save.

Ichiban hits series of punches in the corner then a tornado DDT on Stetson then a Canadian Destroyer on Miles.

Stetson hits a standing powerbomb on Ichiban.

Miles hits a Lungblower to Taylor’s ribs then Stetson & Taylor traded blows on the ring apron.

Stetson shoved him head first into the ring post then Stetson yanks off Ichiban’s mask.

Ichiban immediately covered his face as Miles got an inside cradle on Ichiban for the win.

After the match Smart Mark Sterling entered the ring and talked to The Stetson Ranch. He said Beyond Wrestling/Wrestling Open have the best tag teams in wrestling. The crowd chanted Shut the f*ck up and Sterling responded There is a little kid right there. Sterling opened a bag and pulls out official Wrestling Open Tag Team Titles. The Stetson Ranch grabs them and celebrated with them. However Sterling said those titles will go to the winner of an upcoming tournament and he snatched the belts back from them and left.

Dijak sent in a video congratulating Beyond Wrestling. He said his favorite moment was facing Matt Riddle on a night he wrestled 4 times.

Wrestling Open Title Match
Brad Hollister (c) vs. Joey Janela 

Brad Hollister & Joey Janela traded forearm strikes before Janela hits a diving European uppercut. He hit a running kick on the left elbow.

Hollister hits a backbreaker over his knee but sold the pain in his elbow.

Brad hit an Irish Whip for a near fall and he kept Janela grounded.

He hits a snap suplex for a near fall then Janela finally hit a half nelson suplex and he clotheslined Brad to the floor. Janela dove through the ropes onto Brad.

In the ring Janela hits a German suplex into the bottom turnbuckle.

Janela snaps Hollister’s fingers before Hollister put a palm to Janela’s chest and slams him to the mat for a near fall.

Janela locks in a Fujiwara Armbar but Hollister stood up and hit a back slam to the mat.

They stood up and traded forearm strikes before Janela hits a running knee to the side of the head. Hollister hit a German suplex but Janela pops to his feet.

Janela hits a rolling forearm before Hollister hits a German suplex.

Janela hits a superkick and a Death Valley Driver for a near fall.

Janela hits a Package Piledriver for a near fall. He snaps Hollister’s arm across the top rope.

Hollister hits a standing powerbomb for a near fall and they were both down.

Janela applied a Hammerlock but Hollister powered to his feet and up the ropes and Hollister hits a 2nd rope superplex for the pin.

Winner & Still Wrestling Open Champion: Brad Hollister (18:29) (STILL CHAMPION!!!!)

After the match Love Doug immediately hit the ring & he said he needs another shot at the Wrestling Open Title and he’ll do anything. TJ Crawford got in the ring and got between them. The crowd chanted TJ loves Doug! Hollister got on the mic and said he is sick of seeing your face. However, if he beats Doug then Doug & Crawford can NEVER team again not just in Wrestling Open but ANYWHERE! Hollister said that Crawford would be the special referee.

Gabby Forza vs. Masha Slamovich

Masha Slamovich immediately applied a key lock as they traded arm holds.

They traded shoulder tackles and Gabby Forza hits a bodyslam for a near fall.

Slamovich hits a Helluva Kick for a near fall.

She hits a clothesline for a near fall then a dropkick before Forza hits a flapjack.

She caught Slamovich’s leg and slams her face first to the mat.

She hip tossed Slamovich across the ring then hits a running Stinger Splash.

Slamovich fired up and hit a series of kicks and got a near fall.

She set up for a piledriver but Forza powers out.

Forza hits a powerslam for a near fall before Forza blocks a piledriver and she hits her own piledriver or a near fall.

Slamovich hits a spin kick to the jaw but she missed a Shining Wizard before Forza hits a spear for the win.

Krule (c) vs. Rickey Shane Page

Ricky Shane Page jaws at him before they started trading blows.

Krule shoved RSP through a door before slams RSP onto an open chair.

Krule hit a side slam and he slams him through a door bridge for a near fall.

RSP slams board shards over Krule’s head.

RSP hits a Death Valley Driver through one board then a German suplex through another board in the opposite corner.

RSP hits a top rope Swanton Bomb for a near fall before Krule hits a 2nd rope superplex onto a board bridge for a near fall.

Krule hits a chokeslam for a near fall then hits Road To Valhalla for the win.
