Brittnie Brooks Becomes The First Ever Dreamwave Women’s Champion

On Saturday, Oct. 14th, Dreamwave Wrestling held its big show, “Follow Your Hart.” The show featured a lot of great moments and matches, but perhaps none were bigger than the main event that saw Brittnie Brooks and Zayda Steel meet to become the first-ever Dreamwave Women’s Championship.

To make this moment more important, Madusa was there live to present the winner with the brand new Dreamwave Women’s Championship. She cut a promo to open the match and spoke about how proud she was of everyone involved. From the entrances to the introductions, this match felt like a big deal, as it should have been.

The match itself started off hot as Brooks charged Steel as soon as the bell rang. Steel moved to the outside and Brooks followed right on her tail. However, things would ultimately turn in Steel’s favor when Brooks attempted a suicide dive only to be caught with an elbow to the face.

After an absolutely tremendous back-and-forth match, Brittnie Brooks would land her finishing move on Zayda Steel to win the match, making her the first official Dreamwave Women’s Champion. Steel played the heel role throughout this match absolutely perfectly, and the same can be said for Brooks on the other side of things.

Brooks fought her heart out, as did Steel, to become the first-ever Dreamwave Women’s Champion. Both of their futures not just in Dreamwave but in the world of professional wrestling are very bright. Congratulations to the new Dreamwave Women’s Champion, Brittnie Brooks.
