During CMLL’s recent Informa event, the company announced that the 2026 Men’s Grand Prix tournament will be held on Friday, August 7th, following AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, at Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.
Currently, no competitors have been announced for the Men’s Grand Prix. Místico was the winner of the 2025 Men’s Grand Prix, marking his second victory in the tournament. The Grand Prix has been held since 1994, and since 2022, there have been both men’s and women’s Grand Prix events.
