Early Estimate On Pay Per View Buys For AEW Worlds End 2023

AEW Worlds End took place on December 30, 2023. The main event featured AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF vs. Samoa Joe, with Joe dethroning MJF with a sleeper. Four of the Devil’s masked men appeared after the match and attacked MJF before Cole was revealed to be The Devil.

Roderick Strong, Wardlow, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett were revealed to be the masked men.

Speaking to the media after the AEW PPV event, AEW President Tony Khan stated that the show is expected to have over 100,000 buys, with 10,039 tickets sold and a gate of around $800,000.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the TV PPV numbers as of Thursday showed Worlds End was down 2.0 percent from Full Gear the same number of days after the show.

This could go up or down depending on late buys. The digital purchases remained identical to Full Gear. Based on these figures, the current estimate is 134,000 people.
