Kevin Nash Recalls His Rapid WWE Push In 1995

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently took to an episode of his Kliq This podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including his rapid WWE push in 1995.

Nash said, โ€œMy thing is this, I went from fโ€”ing Oz to having the IC, Tag, and World Title in three years.โ€ โ€œEven though I was the lowest-drawing champion of all time or whatever people want to say about me, I still am the longest-reigning champion in the 1990s which [includes] the Attitude Era. I just happened to be the president during the depression.โ€ โ€œI wouldnโ€™t change it. The reason I got everything I did โ€ฆ after the drug trials โ€ฆ I read someone say โ€˜Youโ€™re a good-looking giant dude โ€” thatโ€™s why you got to where you got.โ€™ No fโ€”ing sโ€“t! I was the biggest dude โ€ฆ I was lean and clean. Thatโ€™s why I got pushed.โ€

โ€œI was so fโ€”ing green and I had no idea what I was doing out there.โ€ โ€œI was just a guy Vince chose. What was I supposed to say? No?โ€
