Matt Riddle Reflects On Career Ups And Downs After WWE Release

Former WWE star Matt Riddle spoke with Developmentally Speaking on a number of topics, including the end of his run with the company and his release as well as how he wouldnโ€™t change anything.

Riddle said, โ€œAt the same time, thatโ€™s kind of the story of my life. In the UFC, five-fight win streak, beating top-ranked fighters, ranked top ten in the world at welterweight, you smoke weed, youโ€™re fired. WWE, youโ€™re killing it, your partner gets hurt, youโ€™re kind of the guy that gets beat up by The Bloodline all the time or what you have, which is fine. But then you go to the airport, you have a couple cocktails and shit goes wrong, people say stuff to you. Whatever. At the end of the day, things happen, I am where I am. People would probably yell at me, but I wouldnโ€™t change it for the world [laughs]. Thatโ€™s just who I am. Youโ€™re supposed to have ups and downs, peaks and valleys.โ€
