Revolution Pro Wrestling officially announced at Sunday night’s Revolution Rumble that NJPW veterans Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI will make their return to the ring at the upcoming Summer Sizzler event on Friday, July 25th.
This marks Naito and BUSHI’s first wrestling appearance since departing NJPW, following their match on May 4th at Wrestling Dontaku: Night Two. The pair will be competing under the newly unveiled name Los Tranquilos De Japon, as revealed by Naito earlier this month.
In addition, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné has been confirmed to be in action at the event. Moné captured the title at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th, but her opponent for Summer Sizzler has not yet been announced.
The show promises to be a major highlight on the UK wrestling calendar, with more match details expected to follow in the coming weeks.
