TNA Wrestling’s Director of Authority, Santino Marella, previously announced that AAW Heavyweight Champion Joe Alonzo would compete at the TNA Lockdown 2026 event on Sunday against TNA star Home Town Man. Furthermore, it was stated that if Alonzo wins, he would be offered a contract with TNA Wrestling.
According to Fightful.com, Alonzo defeated Home Town Man in an in-arena exclusive match and successfully defended his title. Per the stipulation, Alonzo has now signed a contract with TNA. Fightful Select reports that he has officially signed with TNA, with the deal being finalized last week. Alonzo previously appeared on TNA Xplosion, impressing officials with his performance.
