WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam (RVD) recently took to an episode of his โ€œ1 Of A Kindโ€ podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including cinematic matches in wrestling.

RVD said, โ€œNot only have I not thought about [doing one], I have never seen a cinematic match. Has there been a lot of them?โ€ฆ I do hope to see one, you know, watch one. Because Iโ€™ve only seen a few seconds of a little bit of this or that or whatever. And it does sound interesting, from what I understand the concept.โ€

On whether heโ€™s ever seen Triple H angry:

โ€œNo. No, I havenโ€™t seen him angry. So heโ€™s very professional whenever I see him. He is though. To me, heโ€™s always come across as if he represents the company too, not just one of the boys. And so โ€” I donโ€™t know. I kind of think he would pull somebody aside if he had an issue with somebody, as opposed to being angry and letting that energy spill out into everyone elseโ€™s eyes and ears.โ€

On old-school wrestling dying with the territories:

โ€œThere hasnโ€™t been control since then. Thereโ€™s no union thereโ€™s โ€” itโ€™s entertainment, so I guess anybody can do whatever they want and then call it wrestling. But for the old school mentality, itโ€™s too bad that thereโ€™s not some kind of original brotherhood that could stick together and protect the foundation.โ€
