The Young Bucks have a soft spot in their hearts for Pro Wrestling Guerilla.
During a recent appearance on the Swerve City podcast, Nick and Matt Jackson were asked about life after wrestling, which led to Nick revealing that the two have looked into buying PWG.
Featured below is an excerpt where this comes up during the interview.
Matt: โFor me, once Iโm done in-ring, Iโll never announce it, Iโll never be like, โOh, Iโm retired.โ Iโll just walk away and people will be like, โwhatever happened to that guy?โโ
Nick: โFor him, itโs easier. He just went to Hawaii and I didnโt hear from him for ten days.โ
Matt: โI turned my phone off. Iโm good at just going off the radar.โ
Nick: โFor me, Iโm different. I like to stay entertained and busy. For me, itโd be hard. I fantasize about running this small Indie one day. How fun would that be? Buy PWG from Super Dragon. I tried to buy PWG once, he didnโt go for the offer. One day, Super Dragon.โ
Matt: โYou low-balled him.โ
Nick: โI got him back. He said โnoโ right away.โ
Matt: โWe heard from him six or seven months ago. We did the Forum show, a ladder match [January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite], that night he sent me a text message, โYo, great match.โ โYou watched it?โ โI was there.โ โExcuse me?โ โItโs crazy that youโre still tearing the house down after all these years.โ โYou have no idea how much that means.โ I looked up to Super Dragon. Heโs this weird immortal wrestling God.โ
