According to Fightful.com, TKO, the parent company of WWE, held a town hall meeting on Wednesday, October 28. Chief Operating Officer Mark Shapiro addressed employees about recent events in the Middle East. Attendees included employees from WWE, UFC, Zuffa Boxing, and On Location.

Shapiro emphasized that employee safety is “paramount” as they prepare for upcoming shows in the region. This meeting occurred before the announcement from Riyadh Season’s social media accounts stating that WWE Crown Jewel 2026 will be moving venues; however, it is rumored that the event will still take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, PWInsider.com reports that the meeting was conducted over Zoom. WWE President Nick Khan also spoke about emerging WWE stars, mentioning Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Sol Ruca, and Oba Femi.

WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, TKO’s Zuffa Boxing is promoting the Canelo Alvarez vs. Christian M’billi fight, which will take place on October 31 in the same city.
