TNA Wrestling Provides Injury Update On Several Stars

TNA Wrestling provided a medical update on their official website on a number of the company’s stars following their Rebellion PPV this past weekend.

It was stated that TNA World Tag Team Champion Brian Myers is currently dealing with what is described as an undetermined shoulder injury. He will undergo an MRI to better understand the extent of his injury. As a result, Myers is not medically cleared to wrestle at this time.

Alex Hammerstone passed all of his concussion protocol tests following Saturday night’s PPV after his one-on-one matchup against Josh Alexander, and as a result, Hammerstone has been medically cleared to wrestle. Meanwhile, Alexander suffered a severe ear laceration as well as contusions to his ear and eardrum, but he was still medically cleared to wrestle despite the injuries.

Eric Young reportedly suffered a severe ear laceration, and as a result, a plastic surgeon needed to re-attach Young’s severed ear. This means he is not medically cleared to wrestle.
