Well, there you have it.

Over a year of online talk and social media insanity, and all for that.

As advertised, AEW EVPs The Young Bucks, Nicholas and Matthew Jackson, who were seated in front of a monitor backstage, revealed the security-camera footage of the real-life backstage scuffle between CM Punk and Jack Perry from AEW ALL IN 2023 at Wembley Stadium in London, England, which led to Punk’s AEW departure and eventual WWE return, as well as Perry’s transition from AEW to NJPW.

During the segment, The Young Bucks spoke about their upcoming match at AEW Dynasty 2024 against FTR, and then mention their bout at ALL IN 2023. This leads to them talking about the issue with Jack Perry “the scapegoat” at ALL IN. Then they bring up “the other individual, who happens to be best friends with FTR.”

They ask if FTR are the masterminds behind this whole thing. They decide it’s unprofessional to make assumptions on public platforms and take that back, a clear dig at CM Punk. They bring up respected journalists needing answers to what happened.

At that point, they proceeded to show the footage, for real, and it is was very much a small encounter.

With no audio, we see CM Punk storm up to Jack Perry after Perry’s match, in his ring gear, with Samoa Joe nearby waiting for their match, which was on next. Punk shoves Perry and snatches up a front choke as Joe ran up and held onto Perry from behind. It was very quickly broken up. Punk pushed past the security holding him and walked off after initially going off-camera to yell at someone, presumably Tony Khan.

That was it.
