WWE Main Event Results – April 4, 2024
Chelsea Green vs. Natalya
Natalya with a quick roll up for a two count then another and another. Chelsea Green bails to the ropes to force a break and wants a time out.
Green wants a handshake so Natalya polls members of the crowd before Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter so Green bails to the floor as she was not ready.
Natalya with a baseball slide and rolls Green back into the ring. Green bails again and starts up the aisle so Natalya gives chase.
Green gets the brakes beat off back down to the ring and uses the ropes to hide again.
The ref gets Natalya back which lets Green finally gets a modified Backstabber.
She chokes in the corner with her boot and hooks a chinlock then Green with an open hand slap to the face and lets us know that Main Event belongs to her.
Natalya comes off the middle rope with a crossbody then hits a discus clothesline for a two count.
Green kicks out of a Sharpshooter and gets a roll up for two that is countered into a roll up for two from Natalya.
Green goes for a Sharpshooter but Natalya gets a small package for a two count before Green gets one final roll up with a handful of tights for the win.
Winner: Chelsea Green
Jinder Mahal vs. Akira Tozawa
Akira Tozawa uses his speed to evade early and poses with Otis then tries to hit a shoulder block but that’s not working.
Tozawa powers up but gets sent to the corner but he floats over but gets run down with a shoulder. Slam from Jinder Mahal and he hooks an armbar.
Otis swivels the hips to the crowd. Tozawa tries a suicide dive but Mahal catches him and throws him into the retaining wall as we go to a break.
After the break Mahal still in control before Mahal stomps away and uses his boot to choke.
He throws forearms in the corner and sends Tozawa into the corner.
Modified chinlock as the crowd tries to rally Tozawa as he ducks a clothesline and gets a pop up counter into a DDT.
Shining Wizard and Tozawa follows with a missile dropkick for a two count.
Mahal lands some elbows but Tozawa counters with a spin kick to the gut then one to the head. Tozawa rips his shirt then heads up top, but misses the senton.
Running boot from Jinder then The Khallas gets the win.
Winner: Jinder Mahal
