The inaugural WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament finals have been rescheduled.
WWE was still promoting the finals of Tuesday night’s In Your House go-home episode of NXT 2.0 on the USA Network on Tuesday afternoon, which featured Tiffany Stratton vs. Roxanne Perez. The match, however, did not take place on the show.
Instead, WWE presented new long video packages on Stratton and Perez, which included comments on their NXT careers as well as some trash talking between the two competitors.
WWE has officially revealed that the finals, featuring Stratton vs. Perez, will take place on Tuesday, June 7 during the show’s post-In Your House edition.
The winner of the first NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament will have their choice of title match. Mandy Rose currently holds the NXT Women’s Title, which she will defend against Wendy Choo at In Your House.
