This interest comes after fans have referred to Misiorowski as “The Miz,” creating a potential connection to WWE star Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, who shares a similar name.
Sources close to the situation have indicated that WWE plans to play on the similarity of the two names. The organization is hopeful for Misiorowski’s appearance, regardless of whether a storyline can be developed. However, his availability is uncertain since the MLB playoffs are set to begin on September 28.
Last month, The Miz mentioned the name similarity during a call into The Pat McAfee Show, asserting that he is “the one and only” Miz. He expressed frustration over receiving Google alerts about someone else with a name that begins with “M-I-S,” rather than the celebrated WWE superstar.
