CMLL star Zeuxis has announced that she recently underwent surgery to repair a meniscus tear, which she sustained prior to her match against AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné at AEW Grand Slam: Mexico.
Zeuxis shared the update on Twitter (X), stating (via Google Translate):
“After 1 month with a meniscus tear and working at 100%, finally coming out of surgery, and ready for recovery to be at 1000%, I’ll be absent from what I love most, which is the ring and the fans, but I promise to return and bring back everything that belongs to me.”
The bout marked a major turning point, as Moné ended Zeuxis’ 278-day reign as CMLL World Women’s Champion. The match was part of a high-profile stretch for Moné, who is currently one of the most decorated champions in wrestling. In addition to the CMLL World Women’s Title, Moné also holds the AEW TBS Championship, the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, and the EWA Women’s Championship.
After recently winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Moné is set to challenge “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship later this month at AEW All In: Texas.

"Después de 1 mes con ruptura de menisco y trabajando al 100% por fin saliendo de cirugía, y lista para la recuperación y estar al 1000%, estaré ausente de lo que más amo que es el ring y los aficionados, pero prometo regresar y traer todo lo que me pertenece ." pic.twitter.com/5M21ui5IhP
