Former WWE Star Matt Morgan recently appeared on an episode of Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw, where he talked about a number of topics including a conversation he had with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon about how he would cut his promos and speak.
Morgan said, โSometimes people would say, โYou talk too fast in your promosโ or, โYou donโt sound the way you lookโ and to be fair, theyโre not wrong. But at the same time, thatโs how I talk so, what I mean by that, Paul (Heyman) would say, โLook, thereโs nothing wrong with you being an educated giant. Weโve never had thatโฆโ And I remember Vince (McMahon) would tell me and sit me down sometimes. Heโd sit there and say, โGuys that look like you donโt say the words you use in your vernacular.โ Iโm like (confused). I didnโt say this of course. Iโm just, โYes, Mr. McMahon. Yes, Mr. McMahon,โ because Iโm a rookie. But in my head Iโm like, what do you want me to do? This is how I talk. What am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to dummy myself down on purpose and walk around, fee-fi-fo-fum, Iโm big, fat, slow. Thatโs played out, thatโs been done.โ
