Despite her continued absence from AEW television, former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker was seen attending WrestleCon in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41 week—fueling speculation about her wrestling future.

Baker’s appearance comes at a time when her status with AEW remains unclear. Wade Keller of PWTorch recently reported that Baker is among the talent not currently being utilized by Tony Khan, with her return hinging on potential creative shifts within the company.

While WrestleVotes noted that WWE does not expect her availability in the near future, Dave Meltzer stated in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Baker is not done with AEW, though her trajectory moving forward is still uncertain.

Adding another layer to the situation, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that Baker still has approximately 18 months remaining on her AEW contract, which would rule out any immediate WWE move—at least from a contractual standpoint.

Interestingly, Baker was also seen alongside Mariah May, who has similarly been absent from AEW programming since Revolution. May is reportedly on WWE’s radar and has been rumored to be WWE-bound once her AEW contract expires, although conflicting reports suggest she still has time left on her current deal.

As of now, no official statements have been made by Baker or AEW regarding her future, but her presence in Vegas during WWE’s biggest weekend of the year certainly keeps the conversation alive.
