WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase appeared on an episode of his podcast, Everybody’s Got a Pod. During the episode, he discussed various topics, including Triple H’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame and how the company’s current success is largely due to Triple H.

DiBiase said, “I don’t think there’s anybody who deserves it more. And I was there the first night he showed up in the dressing room. You know, very quiet, minding his own business and of course probably at that time, kind of — I don’t know if scared is the right word. But you just want to not do anything to piss anyone off. But I mean, from the very beginning I saw the potential with him. Whatever he didn’t have, he caught on quick. Let’s put it that way. And give credit where credit is due, here’s a guy who now is running the company. He’s the guy at the helm of the ship. And the ship is sailing rather well, I would say.”

On Triple H turning around the WWE product and how Vince contributed to the company’s success as well:

“I think he has everything to do with it. Again, Vince’s genius was marketing and everything. But Vince was never actually a wrestler. And so you might not know who to pick. And I think of course to Vince’s credit, he had Pat Patterson as his number one guy. And Pat Patterson was one of the greatest workers ever in our business. And Pat recognized talent. And I think Pat more than anybody was — he’d say, ‘Hey, Vince, you gotta get this guy. You gotta get this guy.’ And I think Pat had a lot to do with me coming back.”
