Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Tiffany Stratton vs. Tatum Paxley vs. Candice LeRae

Candice LeRae attacked Tatum Paxley at the opening bell and caught both opponents with a DDT-neckbreaker combination. Tiffany Stratton soon responded with a discus back elbow, spinebuster and her signature Tiffy Time offense.

Paxley took control with a snap suplex, running crossbody into the turnbuckles and moonsault from the apron. She continued dominating after the commercial break, dropping both opponents with a double swinging arm-ringer.

Stratton regained momentum with a double handspring Stunner, cartwheel Alabama Slam and Swanton Bomb. Paxley survived and hit a spinning wheel kick, while LeRae reentered with a Codebreaker-back senton combination.

Paxley countered Stratton’s rolling senton with Cemetery Drive, but LeRae threw Paxley out and attempted to steal the fall. During the closing exchange, Stratton connected with a rolling senton before Paxley hit a 450 splash for a near fall.

Stratton recovered and landed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to secure her place in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Winner and advancing to Money in the Bank: Tiffany Stratton

Paige Challenges Nikki Bella to a Rematch

Chelsea Green predicted that Tiffany Stratton would win Money in the Bank, describing Stratton as her “twin flame” and comparing their friendship to Nikki and Brie Bella before Nikki became “a raging bitch.”

Nikki confronted Green and warned that Chelsea should be more concerned about losing the WWE Women’s Championship to her.

Paige interrupted and told Nikki that she could not simply return and expect to receive a title opportunity. Paige challenged Nikki to another match in Sacramento, giving her two weeks to prepare.

Paige slapped Nikki across the face before walking away.

Ricky Saints and The War Raiders vs. Rey Fenix and Fraxiom

Nathan Frazer opened against Erik but was quickly overwhelmed by the War Raiders’ strength. Ricky Saints entered and battered Frazer with repeated strikes before Erik resumed the attack.

Frazer eventually created separation with an enzuigiri and tagged Axiom. Fraxiom accelerated the pace with rapid-fire forearms, a DDT and a series of dives before Rey Fenix entered.

Fenix took a nasty fall during an attempted running pescada, allowing Saints and the War Raiders to regain control. They isolated Axiom, with Saints attempting to tear off his mask and repeatedly stomping him.

Axiom survived and tagged Fenix, who ran through all three opponents with his combination offense. Fenix connected with a handspring cutter, Goodbye Amigo Kick and ripcord brainbuster before landing a frog splash on Ivar for a near fall.

All six competitors exchanged signature offense as the match broke down. Axiom wiped out Erik with an Asai moonsault before Fenix stopped Ivar on the top rope.

Saints made a blind tag as Fenix delivered a springboard hurricanrana. Fenix was unaware Saints had become legal and walked directly into Roshambo, giving Saints and the War Raiders the victory.

Winners: Ricky Saints and The War Raiders

Cody Rhodes and Trick Williams Trade Words

Cody Rhodes told Cathy Kelley that he remained focused on qualifying for Money in the Bank rather than his ongoing issues with Randy Orton. Cody acknowledged his history with Kevin Owens and refused to underestimate Johnny Gargano.

Trick Williams interrupted to wish Cody luck but warned that the American Nightmare’s story would end at Money in the Bank. Trick envisioned himself climbing the ladder, capturing the briefcase and cashing in on Sami Zayn to become WWE Champion.

Cody dryly responded, “It sounds like we just did,” before wishing Trick luck and leaving.

Damian Priest Embraces His Violent Side

Damian Priest delivered a message from the streets that shaped him, explaining that respect had to be earned through violence.

Priest admitted that he had lost his way by placing other people’s needs ahead of his own. He warned R-Truth not to come looking for trouble but promised to put him down and enjoy doing it if he did.

Priest declared that he was both a bad man and a violent man—and that was the only version of him anyone would see moving forward.

Women’s Tag Team Championship Match Set for Next Week

Alexa Bliss attempted to console Tatum Paxley following her Money in the Bank qualifying loss.

Bliss revealed that she and Charlotte Flair had spoken with Nick Aldis during the match. As a result, Charlotte and Paxley will challenge Fatal Influence for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship next week.

Charlotte refused Paxley’s request for a hug and warned that there could be no more losing. She instead placed her hat on Paxley’s head before hugging Bliss.

Money in the Bank Competitors Confront Sami Zayn

Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn entered the ring and complained about the crowd’s reaction to him. Zayn said no champion had endured a journey like his and argued that he was not receiving the respect his accomplishments deserved.

Zayn claimed that every potential challenger viewed him as an easy target. He reminded the audience that he had survived CM Punk, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes whenever his championship was at stake.

Je’Von Evans interrupted and mocked Zayn for becoming visibly angry. Evans rejected the familiar claim that his time would come in the future, asking what would happen if his time was now.

Evans said he intended to become the youngest Money in the Bank winner in WWE history before cashing in on Zayn and taking the championship.

PENTA joined them and warned Evans that he would have to get past him. PENTA vowed to win the briefcase and cash in on either Zayn or World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.

Trick Williams arrived and declared that neither Raw star could compare with SmackDown’s top attraction. Trick mocked Zayn’s appearance and hygiene before reminding the champion that he had already beaten him twice. He promised to make it three victories when he cashed in.

Zayn dismissed all three men as likely losers. He recounted the embarrassment and adversity he had survived throughout his career, arguing that none of them deserved to stand alongside him until they overcame similar obstacles.

Finn Bálor interrupted and reiterated that he was coming for Zayn’s championship, with or without the Money in the Bank contract. Zayn told Finn to earn the opportunity.

Finn responded by striking Zayn with a forearm. GUNTHER then entered, trapped Finn in a sleeper hold and dropped him with two short-arm clotheslines. GUNTHER finished the segment by throwing Finn and Zayn into separate ladders.

Lash Legend Warns Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green

Tiffany Stratton promised to become a two-time Ms. Money in the Bank. She told Chelsea Green that she planned to use the contract to capture the Women’s World Championship, allowing them both to hold titles.

Lash Legend interrupted and dismissed Stratton’s plans as wishful thinking. Lash predicted that she would dominate the ladder match, claim the briefcase and pursue Green’s WWE Women’s Championship.

GUNTHER Attacks Danhausen

When asked why he had attacked Finn Bálor and Sami Zayn, GUNTHER said the explanation was simple.

Danhausen appeared with a security wand, which GUNTHER threw away. He backed Danhausen against a wall, called him a “privileged freak” and threw him into production crates.

Blake Monroe vs. Giulia

Blake Monroe and Giulia began with an intense exchange of strikes. Monroe gained control after repeatedly stomping Giulia in the corner and connected with Stratusfaction and a basement dropkick.

Giulia responded by kicking Monroe out of the ring, but Monroe drove her back-first into the apron and followed with a running knee strike.

After the commercial break, Giulia rallied with shoulder tackles, body shots, a running forearm and missile dropkick. Monroe countered Arrivederci into a rollup before delivering a Sling Blade and belly-to-back suplex.

Giulia blocked the Neutralizer and shrugged off a headbutt before connecting with Arrivederci. She followed with the Grapevine Stomp for a close two-count.

As Giulia grabbed Monroe by the hair, Monroe drove her face-first into the ring post and immediately scored the pinfall.

Winner: Blake Monroe

Sami Zayn Encourages Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano told Candice LeRae that their night was not over because his Money in the Bank qualifier was still to come.

Sami Zayn joined them and explained that Nick Aldis had threatened him with severe consequences if he interfered in the main event. Zayn insisted Gargano did not need his help.

Zayn told Johnny they were cut from the same cloth and that Gargano was every bit as good as Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. He encouraged Johnny to go out and be “Johnny Wrestling.”

Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens vs. Johnny Gargano

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens immediately exchanged strikes while Johnny Gargano attempted to capitalize whenever an opening appeared.

Gargano found early momentum with an apron enzuigiri, superkick, slingshot spear and suicide dive. Owens slowed him down before turning his attention to Cody with a cannonball in the corner.

Owens introduced a table at ringside, but Candice LeRae pulled Gargano from his shoulders. Gargano attacked Owens around ringside before Cody launched his comeback with a powerslam and Bionic Elbow.

Gargano trapped Cody in the Gargano Escape and later applied the hold to Owens. Neither man submitted, and Cody eventually dropped Gargano into Owens with a gourdbuster.

LeRae grabbed Cody from behind, but Gargano nearly struck her by mistake. Cody’s pump kick then caused Gargano to knock LeRae through the table at ringside. Rhodes followed by sending Gargano through the damaged table as well.

Back inside, Cody and Owens exchanged heavy strikes before Gargano returned to create a Tower of Doom-style sequence. Gargano delivered a sunset-flip powerbomb to Cody as Owens landed a Swanton Bomb. Gargano superkicked Owens and covered Cody for a close near fall.

Owens later delivered a Stunner to Gargano, but Cody broke up the pin. Cody countered another Stunner attempt with Cross Rhodes and appeared to have the match won until Randy Orton pulled the referee out of the ring.

Orton challenged Cody to fight and sent him shoulder-first into the steel steps. Cody recovered, drove Orton into the ring post and prepared to deliver the Punt.

Gargano interrupted with a suicide dive and hit One Final Beat, but Owens broke up the cover with a superkick. Orton prevented Cody from returning to the ring, allowing Owens to hit Gargano with the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the victory.

Winner and advancing to Money in the Bank: Kevin Owens

After the match, Cody chased Orton through the crowd as SmackDown went off the air.

Announced for Next Week

CM Punk will appear.

Fatal Influence will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley.
