WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, who is reportedly gearing up for his long-anticipated retirement match, recently shared his candid thoughts on the current WWE roster during an appearance on The Claw Podcast with Ross and Marshall Von Erich.

While Goldberg admitted he doesn’t watch the product regularly — “I’ll be honest with you man, I don’t watch much of it. I can’t really give an educated guess there” — he still offered praise for several standout performers.

One of the first names he acknowledged was Seth Rollins: “Seth’s grown so much in this business over the past 10 years.” He followed up by tipping his hat to other top stars like Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes: “Randy Orton’s obviously Randy frickin’ Orton… Cody Rhodes, he’s done unbelievable in the past.”

Goldberg also praised Logan Paul’s quick rise in the industry: “To be able to come in and not be someone from the business and to be able to pick it up so quickly and to be innovative at the same time… I get it. I understand. That’s what makes it such an accomplishment.”

But one name stood out above all — Bron Breakker. Goldberg spoke with particular admiration for the former NXT Champion: “Steiner’s kid, frickin’ doing unbelievable. We talk a lot. I talk to him more than any other current wrestlers for sure. He’s just a great kid, we’re friends.”

Goldberg’s farewell match is rumored to take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta on July 12th, a fitting location for what may be the final chapter of a legendary career.
