The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, has announced that Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena will make an appearance at the venue during the August 1st episode of SmackDown. This appearance comes just days before the 2025 SummerSlam premium live event (PLE).
Cena is also scheduled to appear on this week’s SmackDown as he prepares for his matchup against CM Punk at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, June 28th. Currently, the Undisputed WWE Champion has 18 scheduled appearances remaining on his retirement tour.

* June 28: WWE Night of Champions – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
* July 18: WWE SmackDown – San Antonio, TX
* August 1: WWE SmackDown – Newark, NJ

* August 8: WWE SmackDown – Montreal, Quebec, Canada
* August 15: WWE SmackDown – Dublin, Ireland
* August 29: WWE SmackDown – Lyon, France
* August 31: WWE Clash in Paris – Paris, France
* October 11: WWE Crown Jewel Perth – Perth, Australia
