WWE Hall of Famer and legendary announcer Jim Ross doesnโ€™t believe weโ€™ve seen the last of Vince McMahon in the wrestling business.

Speaking on the latest episode of his Grilling JR podcast, Ross addressed speculation surrounding McMahonโ€™s next move. The conversation stemmed from recent reports that the former WWE Chairman had shown interest in acquiring Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, and rumors of a potential return to promoting.

Ross didnโ€™t hold back, stating:

โ€œHe can be his own worst enemy. Heโ€™s very hard-headed, very stubborn. Heโ€™s also still very brilliant.โ€

The AEW commentator emphasized that McMahonโ€™s identity is too deeply tied to pro wrestling for him to walk away forever.

โ€œI just donโ€™t think weโ€™ve heard the last of him in the pro wrestling space,โ€ Ross said. โ€œI donโ€™t know where itโ€™s headed. I donโ€™t have any inside information, but I just think that he hasnโ€™t sung his last song.โ€

Ross noted McMahonโ€™s lasting impact on the industry and predicted another comebackโ€”however that may look.

โ€œHeโ€™s still got it, quite frankly. Itโ€™s in his blood, Conrad, itโ€™s what he built. Heโ€™s the godfather of that whole genre. So why wouldnโ€™t one assume that heโ€™s going to make another foray into that world?โ€

While McMahon officially stepped down from WWE amid legal and public controversy, Rossโ€™ comments will surely reignite speculation about what the future holds for one of wrestlingโ€™s most polarizing figures.
