Kevin Nash Changes His Tune On LA Knight: “He Deserves A World Title Run”

On the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash offered surprising — and emphatic — praise for LA Knight, signaling a notable shift in his previous stance on the red-hot WWE Superstar.

Nash, who had previously dismissed Knight as a “copycat” of Attitude Era icons like The Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, has now reevaluated his opinion. Speaking candidly, Big Daddy Cool acknowledged Knight’s growing popularity and presence, even going so far as to endorse him for a future world championship run.

“I’ll tell you what — we gave him a lot of s*** early on in this show, saying he was a copycat and everything else. But I really appreciate him now,” Nash admitted. “He’s a f***ing solid hand. The people like him. He’d definitely be on my list of guys to give a run to — a world run.”

Nash also praised Knight’s physical condition and in-ring consistency, calling out the veteran’s dedication to staying in top shape and maintaining strong work inside the ring.

“His work’s always been solid,” Nash added. “And I was just gonna say — that f***er stays in really good shape.”

LA Knight’s connection with the WWE Universe continues to grow week by week, and Nash’s endorsement — especially after earlier criticism — serves as further recognition of Knight’s undeniable momentum heading into the second half of 2025.
