WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently talked about several topics in an episode of his podcast, “Kliq This.” One of the key points he emphasized was the importance of watching every match during his era, which he believes differs significantly from today’s practices.
Nash said, โEvery night. You have to realize we didnโt have f***ing phones. All you did was stand at the curtain and watched every match. No, you watched every match. Every f***ing match. You got in, you got your gear โ the guys that played cards played cards, but we werenโt card guys.โ
On the reason to watch it:
โWeโre making sure guys werenโt using our finishes for high spots. But we watched everything because you want to see whatโs getting a response, whatโs not getting a response, how hard the crowd is. So, if three guys have done a test of strength, the last thing youโre going to do is to put time in, is go out and do a test of strength.โ
