According to WrestleTix, this month’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view at London’s O2 Arena has now distributed 16,622 tickets, leaving 770 still available. The current setup is for 17,392 seats, with the total seating map showing 17,552.
Ticket sales have surged by 2,093 since the last update eight days ago, with just 9 days remaining until showtime.
This marks the first-ever Forbidden Door event at London’s O2 Arena, where previous editions have averaged 13,225 attendees. Currently, the cheapest standard admission ticket is priced at £31.75.
The Wrestling Observer reports the event has already generated a live gate of $2.5+ million.
They note that higher ticket prices on the secondary market often reflect strong demand, and with Forbidden Door’s entry price holding firm, this year’s edition is on pace to be one of the biggest yet.
The event takes place Sunday, August 24th, at the O2 Arena in London, England.
