WWE legend Nattie Neidhart spoke with WWE Hall of Famers, the Bella Twins (Nikki Bella and Brie Bella), for SiriusXM’s Front Row Series. They discussed several topics, including when Nattie realized she was no longer Natalya.
Neidhart said, “So, last year when I wasn’t a part of WrestleMania, I could feel and sense that I wasn’t gonna be included, and so I decided I could do one of two things. I could bitch about it, or I could take action, so I decided that I would about it to TJ.”
On deciding she needed to take action:
“And then I decided to take action, and I walked right up to Triple H the following week at Monday Night Raw, and I said, ‘I wanna do Bloodsport. I want to do this match that nobody has ever seen me do a match like this.’ This is something outside of WWE. It was the first time I would ever stepped outside of WWE. It was my first time stepping outside of the company in 18 years and doing an independent show with, you know, there’s no ropes. It’s very serious fighting, and he said yes immediately, and I actually said to Cody Rhodes, I said, ‘I’m gonna blow this mother****er up.’ I said, ‘And when I say mother****er, I meant Bloodsport.’ I was like, ‘I’m gonna steal the whole entire weekend.’”
