WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The OTC” Roman Reigns has recently been receiving strong babyface reactions at company events, including the Saturday Night’s Main Event special at Madison Square Garden. Reigns also appeared alongside Seth Rollins at the end of SummerSlam, marking their farewell as members of The Shield.
However, he has become increasingly involved in the ongoing conflicts of the Bloodline following SummerSlam. Reigns ordered “Main Event” Jey Uso to bring Solo Sikoa back into the Bloodline. Sikoa had previously separated himself from the group to form his own faction, MFT, and has recently seemed to turn babyface. Throughout this storyline, many fans have wondered whether Reigns is still a babyface or has reverted to his heelish ways.
According to False Finish, WWE currently categorizes Reigns internally as a heel. This assessment comes after Sikoa ultimately rejected Reigns’ offer to rejoin the Bloodline on RAW this past Monday, then attacked him. LA Knight appeared to assist, and together they forced Reigns and The Usos out of the ring. Fans cheered for Knight and Sikoa while booing Reigns and The Usos during this segment.
