According to PWInsider.com (via Fightful.com), WWE star Joe Hendry has been working on the company’s first-ever project in its partnership with ReelShort. Hendry is featured in what is described as a “live-action microdrama,” which will be available on mobile platforms.
There is currently no information on when Hendry will return to WWE television or when the yet-to-be-named microdrama will be released. WWE announced its partnership with ReelShort in July, highlighting it as “the first-ever collaboration between a major sports entertainment brand and a microdrama platform.” In addition to Hendry, the first series will also include Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu, along with ReelShort stars Marc Herrmann and Chase Mattson.
Hendry last appeared on WWE programming during the August 3rd episode of RAW, where he lost a match to Bron Breakker and was subsequently attacked by Austin Theory.
