During the main event of Sunday’s AEW All In: London pay-per-view (PPV) event, Will Ospreay captured the AEW World Championship from Kenny Omega in front of his home crowd at Wembley Stadium in London.
After his victory, Ospreay had his side plates added to the AEW World Championship. When Omega’s plates were removed, Ospreay chose to keep one side plate to honor his predecessor’s reign. He also took to his Twitter (X) account to give a shoutout to The Best Bout Machine, declaring that there will never be another Kenny Omega.
Following the match, Omega and Ospreay shared an emotional moment as they embraced after All In went off the air. Omega later sent a message to the newly crowned AEW World Champion via social media.
