According to Fightful Select, WWE EVOLVE star and former WWE ID Women’s Champion Laynie Luck will not have her WWE ID contract renewed and is set to exit the program after her deal expired earlier this week. The report also indicated that, due to the way WWE tapes its EVOLVE show, Luck is still likely to appear on the program in the coming months. Additionally, signings from the most recent tryouts will be announced later.
Luck recently concluded a run as WWE ID Women’s Champion, having won the title last November and held it for 320 days. She dropped the championship just a few days ago to Monica Monroe at Reality of Wrestling’s Rise to Wrestling Royalty event. Her victory earned her a WWE ID contract.
During her time as champion, Luck had 23 successful title defenses across the independent wrestling scene. According to the report, promoters who worked with Luck praised her willingness to face any opponent and her ability to guide them through matches when necessary.
