When it comes to television, Major League Wrestling (MLW) seems to consistently find new partners as needed, especially after finally reaching an agreement with WWE in 2023 to prevent the company from interfering with its TV presence. WWE had been leveraging its corporate influence to keep MLW off any networks with which they had dealings, even though no reasonable viewer would consider MLW a genuine competitor to the TKO-backed powerhouse.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW), which embraces a philosophy of cooperation, might appear to be a logical partner for MLW. Fans have been speculating whether MLW pay-per-views (PPVs) could eventually be featured on myAEW, which could benefit from additional content. However, according to Sean Ross Sapp on the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, this idea is merely a fan dream for the time being.
Sapp also mentioned that, while there is always a possibility, he hasn’t heard of any developments, and he stated that MLW will ultimately make decisions that are best for them, considering factors like finances and availability. He noted that MLW currently has a rights deal with Tubi and is exploring secondary rights options.
MLW’s next major pay-per-view event, Saturday Night SuperFight, is scheduled for November 7th, and it will be broadcast live on Live Nation’s VEEPS from Chicago’s Cicero Stadium. Any announcements regarding new PPV partners will likely be postponed until after this event.
