Wardlow’s return to AEW programming seems to be imminent, as the company teased it with a vignette that aired during All Out 2026. The vignette highlighted Wardlow’s dominance in the ring during his time with the company.
He hasn’t wrestled on AEW television since March 2024, when he challenged Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship. It was later revealed that he had been suffering from a knee injury.
Wardlow did return to television at last year’s Forbidden Door event, where he joined The Don Callis Family. However, disaster struck again when he suffered a torn pectoral muscle during the show, and he has been away from AEW programming ever since.
