PWMania.com previously reported that the highly anticipated AEW Unified Championship match between AEW International Champion “The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega and AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada has been in the works for nearly a year. According to Fightful Select, that long-term planning extends to other key bouts scheduled—or in development—for All In: Texas.
One of the other marquee matchups reportedly planned since last year is a championship clash between Mercedes Moné and Toni Storm. The report also highlights a potential tag team bout featuring “The Rated R Superstar” Cope and Christian Cage teaming up to face FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood). This particular matchup has been in development since late 2023, but has not been confirmed for this weekend’s event.
Notably, neither Cope, Christian Cage, nor FTR have been officially announced for the All In: Texas card. Cope is believed to still be on hiatus following the shocking betrayal by FTR at Dynasty earlier this year.
As of now, AEW has eight matches confirmed for the All In: Texas pay-per-view, which is fewer than the twelve bouts featured on last year’s card and the eleven from 2023. However, sources indicate that at least one more match is expected to be added, possibly involving a number of performers. That match is likely to be announced during this week’s AEW Collision.
All In: Texas takes place this Saturday, July 12th, live from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The main card is scheduled to begin at 3 PM ET, and the show will be broadcast across multiple platforms.
