WWE fans may have to wait a little longer to see one of their favorite wrestlers return to television after a long absence. Tonight’s SmackDown will focus on the fallout from last Saturday’s Crown Jewel PLE, as well as the return of a fan favorite.

Tonight’s matches are LA Knight vs. Grayson Waller and Carlito vs. Bobby Lashley, according to WWE.

It is expected that Rey Mysterio, Kevin Owens, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, The Street Profits, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and The Brawling Brutes will appear. Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest from Judgment Day and Jey Uso vs. Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER are the advertised dark matches.

According to PWInsider, while the original plan was for AJ Styles to return this week, they have heard that it has been pushed back and are working to confirm it.

Styles hasn’t worked a match since the September 15 SmackDown episode, when he defeated Finn Balor. When the Bloodline attacked him, the former WWE star was written off the show.
