The WWE NXT crew will take a week off from filming live television for its weekly Tuesday night show on the USA Network from the Performance Center.
The brand is coming off of last Sunday’s Vengeance Day PLE, which was highlighted by Carmelo Hayes turning heel and attacking Trick Williams. NXT Tag Team Champions The Family (Tony D’Angelo & Stacks) will face Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winners The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin), Von Wagner & Mr. Stone will face Noam Dar & Oro Mensah, Kiana James will face Brinley Reece, and Adriana Rizzo will face Jaida Parker.
Next Tuesday’s WWE NXT will be a double taping, resulting in content for two episodes, as the February 13th episode will air before the following week’s show.
According to Dave Meltzer’s latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the show is being taped because there are tryouts in Perth, Australia. The key NXT members will depart before the February 20th show.
WWE is heading to Perth for the Elimination Chamber PLE. NXT’s live shows will resume on February 27th.
