While Giulia won’t be in Toronto this weekend for NXT Heatwave, fans can still expect to see her soon.
Giulia is still working for STARDOM’s founder, Rossy Ogawa, on his new Dream Star Fighting Marigold promotion. The plan is for her to work at Marigold for a while before heading to WWE. Unfortunately, she sustained a right wrist injury during a match in May.
Fightful Select also confirmed that the top signing is not expected for Heatwave because she is in Japan. Still, “the expectation is that Giulia will feature on the next NXT Premium Live Event, but there has been no confirmation on when that will be, although NXT sources believe SummerSlam weekend is a likely landing spot for NXT’s next PLE.”
WWE reportedly wants Giulia on screen “as soon as possible.” It should be noted that Giulia has Marigold commitments to complete before joining WWE. She is expected to be cleared in time to face Saree on July 13th.
Minoru Suzuki was released from the hospital after collapsing during a match.
Regarding WWE creative, “everything is on the table for how Giulia could debut on the brand, with an NXT Women’s Title challenge still expected but not guaranteed.”
Giulia signed with WWE over WrestleMania weekend.
