The first night of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc featured a main event in which Becky Lynch defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Lyra Valkyria, with Jade Cargill in attendance.
Lyra won the match, dethroning Lynch as the WWE Women’s Champion. This is Lyra’s first championship win in WWE. Lynch successfully defended her Women’s Championship six times on various shows, including RAW, NXT, and live events.
According to Bodyslam.net, the top WWE star was injured prior to the match. Whatever the problem was, it had no bearing on her defeat to Valkyria.
According to the report, it is not a recurrence of the arm injury Lynch sustained at No Mercy while fighting Tiffany Stratton.
It hasn’t been confirmed if Becky will miss any time from WWE television following her NXT title loss.
Lynch commented on her loss by simply writing “The future is bright ??” via Twitter/X.
