After winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, putting on a great performance in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, and working a great match at WrestleMania XL, Becky Lynch has had an incredible 2024.
Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley defeated Lynch at WrestleMania’s second night this past Sunday. Many fans were surprised by Rhea’s victory, especially since she had been champion for over a year after defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.
As PWMania.com previously reported, there was speculation during WrestleMania that Seth Rollins would be taking a break from WWE following his World Heavyweight Championship loss to Drew McIntyre.
In the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Rollins will be away from WWE, but not for long.
Meltzer added that Lynch is also thought to be taking a break. It’s unclear how long she will be gone.
