WWE star CM Punk discussed various topics with Netflix, including his approach to working with the company and his hockey mentality.

Punk said, โ€œI donโ€™t like being selfish, I adopt more of a hockey mentality โ€” itโ€™s not about the name on the back of the jersey, itโ€™s about the logo on the front. Iโ€™m surrounded by so many talented people. Iโ€™m fortunate to have been able to do things at a very high level, and I think itโ€™s important to always reach back and bring people with you. So, if thereโ€™s somebody on the roster that I think is phenomenal and maybe isnโ€™t getting the right look, I will talk about them all day. I think thatโ€™s my job.โ€

On how he hates talking about himself:

โ€œI hate talking about myself, contrary to popular belief. Iโ€™m way too self-deprecating to tell you about all the things Iโ€™ve done โ€ฆ it goes against every single grain and fiber of logic for pro wrestlers. I got โ€˜Best in the Worldโ€™ on my shirt, but Iโ€™m more inclined to try to lift everybody else up. Although he doesnโ€™t love to bring attention to himself, Punk definitely understands his importance to the wrestling business. Iโ€™m one of one โ€ฆ Itโ€™s not easy for me to sit here and tell you Iโ€™m a Superstar, but thereโ€™s nobody like me.โ€œ
