In the main event of this week’s Dynamite, a new AEW Women’s World Champion was crowned.
Hikaru Shida won the AEW Women’s World Championship by defeating Toni Storm. Storm appeared to have the match in hand in the final minutes after spray painting Shida in the face, but Shida kicked out after taking the Storm Zero. Shida won the title by pinning Storm.
On the show, Rob Van Dam made his debut, paving the way for RVD vs. FTW World Champion Jack Perry next week. Several storylines were developed, and at ALL IN, MJF will defend his World Title against Adam Cole.
