Kevin Nash Believes AEW Being A Viable Option Is Huge For The Longevity Of The Business

Although some people have taken offense at some of Kevin Nash’s remarks regarding AEW, Nash has stated on his podcast that he wants the company to succeed because it is beneficial to the wrestling industry as a whole.

Nash recently took to an episode of his Kliq This podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including the following about AEW:

“In all honesty, I want AEW to succeed. Number one, I got friends who work there in production, in all different aspects, not just guys that are in front of the camera. Them being a viable option is huge for the longevity of the business.”

Nash also commented on Cody Rhodes being an old school guy who still works a demanding schedule. Cody worked more matches than anyone on the WWE roster last year, and he makes numerous appearances in between shows.

Nash said, “I’m sorry man, but the only old school guy that is still in that locker room that’s of the new era is Cody. Cody would work 300 days and wouldn’t bat an eye. That’s why he’s the perfect fu**ing champion right now because he’s not going to take time off. He’s going to show up an hour before anybody else does and sign 250 belts. When you look at it and they had that iron man thing, I think it was Dom Mysterio, Seth, and Cody and they were like 103, 108, 113 days, like the workhorses for the year. There wasn’t a guy in that locker room who didn’t do 250 (when he wrestled).”
