The featured matchup of Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam saw Jon Moxley defeat Darby Allin in singles action to take Allin’s World Title opportunity against reigning World Champion “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. Immediately following the match, Danielson attacked Moxley for the vicious beat-down Moxley gave him at All Out 2024 earlier this month.
Danielson then grabbed the microphone and declared war against Moxley. He announced that they will battle each other for his AEW World Championship at the upcoming Wrestle Dream 2024 PPV on Saturday, October 12 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.
