Mariah May Reveals When She Signed AEW

AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May appeared on Mostly Sports With Mark Titus and Brandon Walker to talk about a number of topics, including how she signed with the promotion even before the 2023 All In PPV took place and how competing at this year’s event wasn’t really a dream because she never thought it would happen.

May said, โ€œIt wasnโ€™t really a dream come true because I never thought it would happen. There wasnโ€™t wrestling in Wembley for so long until AEW brought it back.โ€

โ€œOnce they brought it back, when they had their first show in Wembley, I was actually in Japan wrestling, but I was already signed to AEW. So I was like, โ€˜I need to go, even if Iโ€™m not on the show, I just want to go and be around it.โ€™ Then I won the world championship. But itโ€™s an amazing place, yeah.โ€
