Former WWE Star Matt Morgan recently appeared on an episode of Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw, where he talked about a number of topics including a conversation he had with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon about how he would cut his promos and speak.

Morgan said, โ€œSometimes people would say, โ€˜You talk too fast in your promosโ€™ or, โ€˜You donโ€™t sound the way you lookโ€™ and to be fair, theyโ€™re not wrong. But at the same time, thatโ€™s how I talk so, what I mean by that, Paul (Heyman) would say, โ€˜Look, thereโ€™s nothing wrong with you being an educated giant. Weโ€™ve never had thatโ€ฆโ€™ And I remember Vince (McMahon) would tell me and sit me down sometimes. Heโ€™d sit there and say, โ€˜Guys that look like you donโ€™t say the words you use in your vernacular.โ€™ Iโ€™m like (confused). I didnโ€™t say this of course. Iโ€™m just, โ€˜Yes, Mr. McMahon. Yes, Mr. McMahon,โ€™ because Iโ€™m a rookie. But in my head Iโ€™m like, what do you want me to do? This is how I talk. What am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to dummy myself down on purpose and walk around, fee-fi-fo-fum, Iโ€™m big, fat, slow. Thatโ€™s played out, thatโ€™s been done.โ€
