MJF is pretty banged up.
As noted, the AEW World & ROH World Tag-Team Champion suffered a shoulder injury during his title defense against Jay White at AEW Full Gear 2023.
In an update, MJF got an MRI and it was revealed that he has a torn labrum. He will undergo a special treatment to try and avoid surgery.
Despite the injury, MJF is still scheduled to defend his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End 2023 on pay-per-view next month.
